By Eric I think this is a great picture of African Americans during the Great Depression for several reasons. First, they are letting women tend in the fields for money. This is desperate because during that era, women weren't paid that much. Next, jobs weren't that open to women then. Also, African American had better job opportunities, however, since the depression, this made it even worst. Finally, farming was a job that for some reason went extinct but now that the depression occurred, farm numbers, had resurrected. That is why I believe that this was a difficult time for African Americans as well as many other folk during the Depression.
